Fiona's
media career began with an internship at CNN the week Princess
Diana died. She has since gone on to work for Reuters,
APTN, GMTV and the BBC.
During her time with REUTERS/GMTV, she set up and co-ordinated
live broadcasts from around the world, covering everything
from the war in the Balkans, the Queen Mother's funeral to
Hollywood's Oscars. She has also worked on GMTV's Intake
News and Production Desks.
On the Foreign and UK Assignments Desks at APTN Fiona researched
major news stories, briefed and interviewed guests, and set
up live outside broadcasts. Fiona was in the hot seat
when Al-Qaeda attacked New York's Twin Towers and helped co-ordinate
and transmit the dramatic events as they unfolded.
As well as working on a daily TV news Intake
Desk, Fiona also specialises in regional news features. |
