In Southeast Asia Tim reported on the Asian tsunami for BBC
News online. He also
was the BBC World Service Planning Editor for business output
and produced programmes from the World Economic Forum in Davos,
held for many of the world's most powerful political and business
leaders.
Working as a Reporter for BBC Radio 5 Live and Radio 4, Tim
has interviewed a number of famous people including, five-times
Olympic gold medalist Sir Steve Redgrave, Sir Sterling Moss,
Michael Schumacher, Sir Jackie Stewart and James Garner.
His hunger for an exclusive interview once saw him successfully
chase the band New Order for a whole day and night when the
group was performing in Rio de Janerio.
Seemingly on the ground at the right place at the right time;
or the wrong place at the wrong time depending how you look
at it, Tim reported for BBC One's Breakfast News on Hurricane
Hugo which devastated Guadeloupe in the French Caribbean.
Tim was responsible for the launch of a new TV show on the CNBC
Europe channel called 'Power Lunch' aimed at the individual
investor. He has also re-launched 'Financial World Tonight'
during its rescheduling to 5 Live after over 20 years on Radio
4.
Tim has produced many BBC business news
programmes which include interviews with chief executives of
some of the world's largest and most dynamic listed companies.
